Admin and workspace management

The housekeeping surfaces an owner or admin uses: trash and retention, the organisation rate lock, favourites, and renaming the workspace.

Who this is for: Organisation owners and admins.

Trash and retention

Deleting a project moves it to Trash rather than removing it. From there you can restore it, or permanently delete your own projects.

Owners and admins see every trashed project in the organisation, with the author's name. Members see only their own.

The organisation rate lock

By default each person's own hourly rate from Settings → Account is used when generating a scope. On the Team plan an owner or admin can enable a locked hourly rate for the organisation. While it is on, that rate is used for every scope generated in the workspace, whatever individuals have set personally.

  1. Open Settings → Team.
  2. Enable the rate lock and enter an hourly rate of 0 or greater.
  3. Save. It applies to scopes generated from that point on, not retrospectively.

Rename the organisation

Owners and admins can rename the organisation inline from the top of the workspace sidebar, up to 80 characters. The name appears in the sidebar, on the team settings page, and in the invite acceptance screen.

Favourites, private and teamspace

  • Favorites — star a project to pin it to the top of the sidebar. Favourites are per person, not shared.
  • Private — your personal projects in the current workspace.
  • Teamspace — projects belonging to the organisation. Only shown in an organisation workspace.
