Limits and quotas
Why you are blocked from creating a project or running a generation, and the fastest way through it.
Who this is for: Free plan accounts, mostly.
You cannot create another project
The Free plan allows 3 projects. In a personal workspace the count is your own projects; in an organisation workspace it is the organisation's.
You have hit the AI limit
Free accounts get 20 AI calls per rolling 24 hours and 5 per rolling hour. Both apply. These are rolling windows: if you used your fifth call at 14:20, the next becomes available at 15:20, not at the top of the hour.
- Every AI action counts, including clarifying questions and regenerating a single section.
- Failed and timed-out attempts count as well.
- Pro, trial and Team accounts bypass both limits entirely.
