Request a refund
Full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge, requested by email from the account address.
Who this is for: Anyone who has been charged and wants the money back.
What to include
- Send it from the email address on the account. This is how the request is authenticated.
- The date of the charge you want refunded.
- The reason for the request.
What happens next
- Byteflare reviews the request and instructs Paddle to issue the refund.
- Paddle returns the money to the original payment method.
- It typically appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Outside the 14-day window
Refunds after 14 days are at Byteflare's discretion. It is still worth writing, with the circumstances — but treat it as a request rather than an entitlement.
Statutory rights
Nothing above limits the rights you have by law, including the EU and UK right of withdrawal for consumers. Those rights are processed by Paddle as the merchant of record. The Terms of Service are the authoritative statement of this.
Things that are not refunds
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Cancelling mid-period | Access continues to period end. No pro-rata refund. |
| Removing seats | No refund and no credit for the released seats. |
| Cancelling during the trial | No charge was taken, so there is nothing to refund. |

- Cancel or change your planCancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. It is not a refund.
- How seat changes are billedAdding a seat charges you immediately for the rest of the period. Removing a seat gives you nothing back.
- Trials and automatic conversionThe trial gives you full Pro access for 7 days, requires payment details up front, and converts to a paid plan automatically unless you cancel first.
